Julia loves to take baths and play with her bath toys. I found out that the perfect way to store her toys is with the Boon frog bath toy organizer.
When I was making my baby registry a long time ago, I didn’t know whether or not I wanted the Boon frog bath toy organizer. It was cute, but I wasn’t convinced that it would be the best way to store bath toys. I decided to worry about it later, and I’m glad I did.
A few months after Julia was born, I was at a yard sale and saw a Boon frog toy organizer in great condition selling for only a few dollars. I decided to try it out… and I love it!
Since I love it so much, I have decided to share the top five reasons why…
1) Easy To Install
The frog organizer was very easy to install in the bathtub. I used two command strips that were made to work in bathrooms. Mine were from Home Depot, but you can probably find them in many other stores too. They have been holding up very well so far. It’s been about a year since I installed the frog.
2) Quick And Easy Cleanup
The base of the frog stays on the wall, but you can take the body of the frog off and it becomes a scoop to pick up all of the toys floating around in the bathtub. This makes cleanup very quick and easy!
3) Allows Toys To Dry Between Baths
Since there are holes throughout the scoop, the water can easily drain out to allow the toys to dry off between baths.
Julia loves to play with the little animals that squirt water, so we store a lot of those in the frog.
Here are some other toys that we store in the frog.
It’s nice that all of these toys are able to dry between baths and not be sitting in water all of the time.
4) Lots Of Storage Options
We also have a set of cups that suction to the wall and water drains through them. We originally tried keeping them suctioned to the wall between baths, but they end up falling off the wall in the middle of the night and waking us up!
I found that those fit perfectly on the frog’s fingers.
Reading books is another activity that Julia loves to do while in the bathtub. There is an area above the frog’s head and between its fingers that makes a perfect shelf.
Depending on the size of the books, you might not even be able to see the books. This is helpful if you prefer hidden storage.
Check out all of the storage!
5) The Frog Is Cute
I don’t think I need to explain this one!
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the Boon frog bath toy organizer. We do store some other toys in the bathtub on the shelves and suctioned to the wall, but most of the toys are in the frog. When Julia gets too many toys to fit in the frog and bathtub, we will probably start a toy rotation system.
